Natural Split Face Flagstones and Tiles

We are one of the last quarries that specialize in sorting and splitting stone by hand. Our team of artisans with inter-generational experience and the highest level of passion and professionalism read the stone to sort and split with traditional hand tools unchanged since the 10th Century. The stone can then be used either directly off the pallet or sent to our manufacturing facility for further processing depending on the desired finish by the customer. The result of hand processing is a level of unparalleled natural beauty that provides warmth to any surface and is a finish that can’t be replicated by solely mechanical means.

Trulli Stone can provide natural flagstones and tiles in very large sizes for specific orders.

Natural Split Face Veneers and Tiles

We utilize the same hand sorting and splitting methods of production, however send the stone to our processing facility for finishing. We split the natural stone in half with our industrial saws to maintain the exterior natural beauty and craftsmanship whilst giving the customer the ability to work with a thinner product to reduce weight in a construction project or to save space and reduce the cost of transportation. This also enables an engineer or contractor to manage the installation with a standard ‘flat back’ product which can aid in certain installations. We can also process the natural veneer stone to provide consistency in thickness of each piece depending on the desired visual outcome.

Trulli Stone provides squared or polished alternatives of the above in either uniform or varying sizes up to 400mm. We can also provide fiberglass backed.

3

Cobblestones

These are smaller cube or rectangular tiles and are used for patios, outdoor entertaining areas or driveways where a rustic and natural look is desired. Cobblestones are produced on our hydraulic splitter machines to provide consistency. Cobblestones can be provided split or split and polished or any combination in-between.
